Founded in 1920, AMC has the largest share of the [U.S.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States) theater market ahead of [Regal](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regal_Cinemas) and [Cinemark Theatres](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinemark_Theatres).
